What are the criteria for obtaining your license?

Conditions of eligibility

To qualify for the Retiree permit, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Age 50 or over

  • Transfer a minimum of USD 1,500 per month (or annual equivalent of USD 18,000) to a Mauritian bank account

  • Not be gainfully employed in Mauritius
